Panorama Spa

In the spa area, you'll find several hot tubs, a large sauna, and a fitness cube with unbeatable sea views.

There's also a unique Solarium where you can relax with a good book while getting a sun-kissed glow.

We also offer massage treatments (must be booked in advance).


Floating sauna

Havblikk Fjordsauna is a sauna boat currently docked in our harbor. All our guests are, of course, welcome to book drop-in sessions there. You can also reserve the entire boat or book private sauna cruises.


Shuffleboard

Time to awaken your competitive spirit! Here, you can challenge your travel companions or meet new people while playing. We have two shuffleboards located near the restaurant area.

Ice bathing is not only an extraordinary way to explore the sea, but it is also known for its health benefits, including increased circulation, strengthened immune system, and improved mental clarity. In the sea by the pier, we have underwater lights that create a magical experience.

Hot Tubs Close to the Sea


What could be better than relaxing in a warm and comfortable hot tub, right by the sea? Here, you can enjoy the unique combination of hot tubs, sauna boats, and ice bathing.

As our guest, you can enjoy these for free. Just remember to contact the reception first, and we'll take care of everything for you!

Recommended Hiking Trails


The areas around Panorama Hotel offer excellent hiking opportunities! Some of the viewpoints here can truly take your breath away. Feel free to ask at the reception for a folder with good hiking maps.

Bring your own fishing gear or rent from us!

Do you have fishing luck? The breakwater is a popular spot for fishing, where both young and old have reeled in fish one after another.

Experience the coast and try your luck at fishing


Out here, you can have great fishing experiences at sea by Marstein Lighthouse. Others appreciate pleasant trips to bays and villages more. How about coffee and ice cream on the dock at Glesvær café?

We rent out 7 boats of the Øien type. The boats have motors and are easy to use. They are docked at the hotel. Before rental, you will receive an introduction on how to handle the boat. The renter must present a boating license and sign a self-declaration upon rental. (If you were born before 1980, you do not need a boating license).

Kayak Adventure

This offering will be available again on March 1st.

Get up close and personal with the sea.


In our waters by the sea, sea kayaking is the way to go. The kayaks are stable and easy to paddle, but we still recommend listening to advice on windier days. With the beach nearby, it's easy to get in and out of the kayak.

Daily rental:

  • Single sea kayak: 500 NOK
  • Double sea kayak: 600 NOK

Included in the rental: wetsuit, jacket, life vest, and spray skirt.

Rental is available exclusively for staying guests.

We have 6 single kayaks and 1 double kayak for rent. All kayakers go out at their own risk. A waiver must be signed before rental. The age limit is 13 years, accompanied by an adult/experienced paddler.


SUP Boards

This offering will be available again on March 1st.

SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) is great full-body exercise and a wonderful way to clear your mind. It's perfect for fitness, fun, and relaxation.


Rental of SUP board: NOK 500
Includes one board with paddle, carry bag, and safety leash.
We have a total of 3 boards for rent.

Reserved for hotel guests.

SUP, or Stand Up Paddling, is a relatively new but rapidly growing sport in Norway. With your own board and paddle, you balance standing on the board while paddling out into the ocean at Sotra. SUP is great full-body exercise and a nice way to clear your mind. It is perfect for exercise, play, and recreation.

Get moving and feel one with nature!

We have the following SUP boards:

  • 1 Starboard Widepoint 10.5:
    Stable and easy to paddle, suitable for individuals up to 60-70 kg.
  • 1 Boga Caballa iSUP 11.5:
    Larger and more stable family board with good speed, suitable for individuals up to 100 kg.
  • 1 Boga Yoga iSUP
    Larger and more stable family board, can also bring children and/or a dog on the paddling trip, suitable for individuals up to 120 kg.

E-Bike Rental

Experience Nature


With an e-bike, you might choose a route you wouldn't normally take with a regular bike, and you'll have plenty of energy to explore places. Highly recommended!

We have 4 e-bikes available.
Price: NOK 100 for half a day (Child seat: NOK 50)
Bike helmet and lock are included in the price.

Range: approx. 80 km

Recommended tours:

  • Tofterøy:
    This is the island you see from your hotel room, a small, cozy island at the edge of the sea. In this direction, you will experience Western Norway's nature at its best with cozy boathouses and bays, and several places where you will see straight out to the open sea.
  • Free electric ferry from Klokkarvik to Hjellestad:
    Description of the tour:

    A great half-day or full-day trip.
    The stretch from the hotel to Klokkarvik quay is about 8 km and takes about 45-60 minutes depending on the pace. The route goes through rural surroundings with beautiful sea views all the way.

    The ferry ride itself is also a great experience, the ferry is a brand new and quiet electric ferry that stops at the idyllic islands of Lerøy and Bjelkarøy. The crossing takes about 35 minutes. Have a great trip!
